Complexity - Plexida . 2024 . Plexi
Complexity is a monumental braid made from hundreds of pieces of newspaper that I twist into cord using an excessively time-consuming procedure. The Greek word for braid -plexida- includes -plex- which appears also in the word com-plex-ity.It is about the complexity of these times and a reference to the terrible news about the oppression of women in Iran, who cut off their beautiful hair in protest.
